hi Smile

well i just wanted to ask if any of you know if there's a possibility to modify the recent topics widgets or to just create a new widget with the script of the recent topics widget.
i know this may sound confusing, so here's some pictures what i'm talking about:
modifying the recent topics widgets/creating a new one like that C?7074226=-twS1DcLYp5s559ZPXpXvO_vcwQ&f=b46904f1492010a8e681e0451fcb51d5
modifying the recent topics widgets/creating a new one like that C?7068215=_gR-nsas8fBBM-ZE-_sglraFqyk&f=6351ad7de870bcd6d923dcba8168395f
modifying the recent topics widgets/creating a new one like that C?7074225=YWWqnubf0y_zA9R9iH74e7bmMJo&f=cf27c926cac7a8ba3819ff558fd21fcd
see how all of them are modified to fit the skin of the forum? i just wanna know if there's a way to do that.
i know you can do it in the templates, i've done that way already, but i just wanna know if there's some script i can put in a new widget and modify that ^^
i hope i made it clear enough haha i know i'd be confused if i'd be the one reading this

Well they just use images to make it something like that.
For the 2nd one, it uses only a background image. Smile

i replaced the "Latest topics" Text to Be "Recent Topics"
with this piece of javascript
Code:
$(document).ready(function(){
$('.main-head h3:contains("Latest topics")').text('Recent Topics');
});

yeah i know how they made it, but i don't know if there's any other way to change the background and stuff other than in templates Smile
because on my forum i want the widget to have no border, no background, just an image at the top. like you can see in the first and third picture and i'm not sure how exactly to do that
